This week, we’ll begin our course by thinking about the peculiar nature of historical sources for the history of the early modern witch hunts. Rather than going over the details of our course material, I want to use in class time to highlight the types of questions we use to analyze historical witch trial documents and the challenges we face in answering them.
Preparation

- Ask for clarification about an aspect of the course.
- Respond to any of the course policies or frameworks.
